I think that link is still an affiliate link. It's just been edited so it doesn't look like one. It shows up like this in my browser: "http://www.focuscamera.com/beyerdynamic-t1-audiophile-stereo-headphones.html?utm_campaign=cj_affiliate_sale&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=cj_VigLink&utm_content=6146845&utm_term=11141019"

You will be tracked since you are being redirected from head-fi to focuscamera. The only way to get rid of the tracking info is copy and paste the URL into your browser, thus avoiding redirecting.

  Shozy Alien...

Isn't that the one with no screen so you can't tell what's playing next?  Does it have a line out and coax out?  How about two microSD ports?  Can it act as a USB DAC/Amp?

That said, when I clicked through to Sonic to check the deal, I saw this:

It's a nice deal on the FiiO, but I think I'd rather have an LCD-XC to go with the portable DAP. Maybe that's just me, though...

It's the sound that makes it, not the toblerone shape, which is sometimes useful (sitting on a desk), sometimes annoying (in a pocket) but manageable. Check out the Stereophile review.

From Bottlehead:

We are doing one last "buy-a-Crack-for $279-add-a-Speedball-for-$20" sale. After this week long offer we will be increasing the price of the basic Crack kit to $299. The increase is necessary to cover the cost of some component upgrades - power supply caps and RCA jacks - that we have already incorporated into the kits for some time, but that we can't continue to subsidize.

We're running this special from today through next Thursday, September 17th. As usual, the sooner you order the higher up in the shipping queue your order will ship. This can make a difference in shipping of a week or even two depending upon how many orders we receive. In other words you might get your kit in three to four weeks if you order today vs. maybe six weeks if you wait until the end of the sale period.

OK, here's the link, get Cracking!

The Paramount 300B kit has done its job exceptionally well for the past 10 years. I use 6 pairs of the 300B monoblocks in my own reference system.  But it's time for retirement. We have just three 120V and two 240V monoblock pair kits left. We are offering these last Paramount kits at a $100 discount in any form you choose to order them - sans 300Bs, with 300Bs, with 2A3s or with both 300Bs and 2A3s.

This monoblock amp kit is a classic, one that has contributed to our reference listening room being called one of the best. Don't miss out!

Delivery will be contingent upon our receipt of the last Paramount transformers from our winder and shipping may take up to six weeks. When they are sold out, they are sold out.

Regards,
The Bottlehead Forum Team.

Some day I should probably get a BHC...at that price it's really a no brainer.

+1!
