does anyone know if the m100 is more or less neutral than the se215 or maybe the dt770 AE? Both are pushing too bassy but I can handle them... So many reasons to buy the m100 at the price but worried about the bass...

When I had them, I loved their looks and their construction, but their sound was not for me. They were more bass than the SE 535s I got (from you), but they were congested... Sort of the epitome of a closed headphone. I sold them. I have the Beyer T 5 p as my closed headphones... Much airier. I did keep the custom shields I had made for the M100smin the event that I return to them one day.
