Anyone knows about the Sennheiser CX 890? It's on sale for $49.99 but I can't find good information about it.

ccc has them commonly on Amazon for 79, reviews are mixed to good on amazon. Senns tend to be warm, so you have to ask yourself if you like warm, bright, or flat.

Hmmm, I really don't have a sound preference at this point. I read the Amazon reviews and it seems like they'll have a similar to the CKM99 I have on order... but I'm not sure about the legitimacy of the reviews as they look either biased or baseless.

Wow great price. Are these worth it if I already have the HD600?

I've owned the HD650 and sold them quickly.  They sounded very veiled to me.    From what I've read, if you really like the HD600 you would not like the HD650.

I had the HD650 a year ago and I have the HD598 now.  Auditory memory is not real good but I believe I like the HD598 better than the HD650.   Of course you can cover yourself by buying the HD650 and selling the one that you like the least.  Its not likely to cost you a lot.

Dezon,
I would not think so. Try the Phillips Fidelio X1 or X2 if you don't already have one of these. I am trying to get one or the other but Phillips doesn't believe in offering big discounts and I am a deal shopper.
