Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but looks to me like the customs are available, but the universal is new, and won't be available for a few months. sure, it's based on the custom, but that doesn't guarantee the fit/sound will be identical. Odds are it'll be close, but still won't know until it's out.

The universal is indeed new, but there have already been a few finalized products made, mostly as review units. Kickstarter is mostly used for exposure and as a way of starting production and giving early birds a bit of a discount

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think that would drive a 9 ohm IEM too well.

FWIW, shotgunshane should get a review Supra in the next day or so.  He's already heard their customs.

Why not?  It's supposed to have under .3ohms output impedance.
