Three Months of Spotify Premium for $.99

https://www.spotify.com/us/

Just a heads up on that deal - it's only good if you've never had a premium subscription on your Spotify account.

I tried to renew my Premium subscription and they wanted to charge the normal $9.99 rate.

I see. Sad that they have to resort to underhanded practices to get people to pay for their service...

PS: First time doing rebates, do I have to mail a filled form to their address or a e-mail is enough? I'm assuming it'll be refunded back to the same mode of payment or as a Amazon GC?

Many companies offer rebates because they know that they will only have to pay the rebate on a small percentage of sales.  One way they do this is to refuse to pay any rebate if the conditions of the rebate are not met exactly.

READ the instructions for the rebate and do EXACTLY what they indicate.  If you do ONE single thing wrong they will refuse the rebate.....and by the time you learn they have refused it you will be too tired of messing around to fool with it.  That's what they're counting on.

Your post indicates that you have not read the details of the rebate.  I'm sure they will not refund back to the mode of payment.   A gift card is very likely.

Good luck!

ALSO, keep copies of everything you submit for the rebate.

Thanks for the heads-up.  Your post is a great reminder (I'd forget otherwise) and the link makes it so nice and easy for me.

Thanks again.

I ordered both the 990 and 770, but I ended up cancelling them because I've already got the HD600 coming in. The 990 would have cost $145 after the 17% discount and $35 rebate, and the 770 would have cost $137 after the 17% discount and $35 rebate.

You can email this PDF form to them:

Looks pretty simple and straightforward to me.

They say to submit "a copy of your original purchase receipt and the UPC from the beyerdynamic packaging", so I can only imagine that would have to be physically mailed in.

Also, they call it a "Cash Back Rebate Form", so I doubt the payment will be in the form of a gift card.

I checked the AmericanMusicandSound website and it appears they will send you a check.

I would send the rebate form, upc, and receipt all in the same envelope.  Its better to keep them all together.

Interesting that I ate lunch in Scottsdale yesterday.
