Just picked up the DT770's from Guitar Center. Hooked them up to my iBasso D7 here at work and I am loving them already! Very comfy and light on the head. I haven't tried too much material yet but so far I'm really digging the sound.

Thanks to whoever posted the deal :)

Not Cyber Monday related, but there's a well-rated seller on Amazon offering 'open box' UE 900 for $200

Since I had a $100 Amazon card, man this was a steal for me.

It is said to be one of the top dual driver IEMS budget wise. Haven't heard it myself but it has been getting rave reviews from prominent members. In terms of price, there may be better choices depending on your preferences. What kind of headphone are you looking for?

I'm looking for the Best IEM I can get the the price of sub -$100? Something just as good if not better than my AKG K545. I mainly Chillstep, Electronica, Anime OSTs, K-POP, J-POP, soundscape etc..

What's the sound signature like on the 770's?  I am not sure if I'm going to keep my IEM's and I'll need a new closed can for work if not...

Tempting, but I'm staying away from the old UE900 due to the various issues they have.

HD 700 was heavily discounted because it sucks and doesn't sell well. HD 6x0 were discounted because there's a lot of them available. They've been in production for what, 15+ years? It was a big discount weekend. Those were good targets for Sennheiser.

Bunch of reactionaries...

HD 700 hardly sucks.  Has a unique sound signature and its just not for everybody.

I liked the signature right away - very full sounding. Mid bass is impactful and perhaps a little overstated compared to something like the HD598, but I am enjoying it. I don't find the highs to be irritating or harsh at all so far. Still testing... :)

adgtron is dakmart, which is authorized. Here's a good post confirming the authorization:

Given your concern and those of others, I should caveat that the reviews on Amazon and ebay are solid, though reseller ratings has a low enough rating to merit question.  Nevertheless, from what I have found, folks generally express worry in forum threads, but upon receipt find that what they buy is indeed legit.

Still some over-ear Momentums for $129 left in black.  To update my earlier post, I ordered the brown version, which shipped this morning and are due here Friday.

This thread is killin' me....  I'm now considering the darn Koss electrostat's...dammit!

We need more posts about Senn Momentums on sale....LMAO.

HD 700's....everyone's got an opinion.  Yawn.  I'm diggin' mine....really comfortable and they sound good paired with the Beresford DAC and Woo amp.  Especially at the price point this thread got me in on for a new pair...WIN!
