Bowers and Wilkins "Recertified" P5 is on lightning deal from Amazon for $160. I think this headphone is nice enough in a casual kind of way for that price. Newer would have been better but it does come with a two year warranty.

So... did BuySonic quietly sell some LCD-2 and LCD-X and had it slip from our radars? Or is it a placeholder for something coming up....? *Clicks notify me button*

Saw that and checked multiple times.  Never got anything except "deal expired".  So if they did, it was quick.

This seems like a pretty good deal.  Reviews from Tyll and Joker make it seem pretty bassy and "fun", compared to the similarly-priced RE-400, which is a bit more mid-centric and "flat".

Alright, screw it.  Just pulled the trigger on the RHA's.  This will be my first real IEM so hopefully it works out.  For that price, tho, shouldn't be too hard to resell if not.

Doctorjazz, I agree completely with what you wrote, "The question isn't just if it is a good price for the Koss headphones, but, since it's still not inexpensive, is it the best you can do for that amount.". I have the same view for any deal on any headphone/iem. Personally, I don't care if a deal is exceptional for a particular item, if there is another phone, that can be had at about the same price, that is better. The hard part is deciding this, without auditioning.

another phone with a better sound quality, that can be had at about the same price*

The resale value of a senn hd650 will always be more than an akg q701, and iems will always be (by far) more portable than headphones.

Also just pulled the trigger on RHA-750i's.I don't believe anybody else will have them any cheaper than Newegg.Had to pay sales tax but not a deal breaker.Happy listening!

Yamaha EPH-100SL for $91.99 on Amazon, brand new.

"Very Good" sold by Amazon Warehouse Deals, $65

"Like New" sold by Amazon Warehouse Deals, $70.

Excellent price as these have been going between $150-200 forever.

Sound quality wise, are they better than most 100 dollar IEMs? or are there other IEM that excel within that price range? im still new to IEMs and still use 15 dollar IEMs lol...have not really done any higher than that. Im still looking for a 20 to 25 dollar IEM that I could try and move away from my current daily users the soundmagic es18 and UE500vi....i use both for music and for phone calls...

So i guess you could say Im looking for 2 pairs, since I usually switch around alot between them.

But if these are a deal at this price.....hmmm makes me want to not get the new momentum in ears
