  Don't know how much of a deal this is since I don't know their regular going rate, but the CEntrance DACport is $249.95 on Amazon right now.

They can be found much cheaper if you do a little digging.  I'm pretty sure $249 is the "standard" price everywhere these days.

Depends, you can always pick up a used one... But sounds like the new "e" models have quite the improvement in sound refinement (first grado driver update in ages). I would personally wait. Most people either love or hate the Grado sound. They were a first love for me, so I will always have one on hand.

PS, if you do buy a Grado... skip all the pad rolling and go straight for the the Ear Zonk G Cush.
