Camelcamelcamel.com shows the average price as $201.66 with the all time low being $171.29. Seems decent enough to me. It looks like it doesn't get down to this price all that often.

I paid $205 for mine half a year ago and I love em. Get em at that price..if theres ever a low price its by a marketplkace seller and has shipping at like $20 lol.

I also paid a bit over $200 for mine last year directly from Amazon, so this is a pretty good deal.  Marketplace is kind of hit and miss unless you can score one that is "like new" and sold by Amazon Warehouse.  I've had good luck buying from the Amazon Warehouse and they still offer a 30-day return privilege.

Make sure the jack is fully plugged into the headphone. I had the peoblem too. Turns out the jacks are just deceptively hard to jam into the headphone

Keep in mind that the A50 has the receiver built into the headset, so you'll be using those headphones only with it.

Also keep in mind that the A50's pick up an insane amount of background noise and people will complain if you play live multiplayer about your dog, mom, dishwasher, hamster, air conditioner, etc, in the background. I'm constantly muting Astro guys on Xbox live. And I had a set and sold them becuase it drove everyone nuts.
