Cool story bro, you paired headphones that people who will go for the Vali probably won't be using with it.

Doesn't change how i feel about the Vali and Schiit
clearly we're playing at different levels.

Vali is a perfectly acceptable amp with any of those, especially if you start with the best phones you can afford and build from there.  I'm not interested in changing your feelings, just in pointing out the difference in our perspectives so that others can get a fuller sense of where we're coming from.  Plus the winking smiley.  Makes it okay.

Haha you told the story again bro, and this time with emphasis, cool! I think the HE4 sounds better than the T1 but that's just IMO, does this mean you're coming from a high tolerance of diminishing returns?

Not too bad.  I don't see a lot of use for those adapters anymore, so probably just a push to clear them out.

huge tall soundstage...kinda like putting u onstage in a live performance.
very clear..i heard it thru multiple setups..2k cdplayer with Wa22.. it gets better n better..without getting into sibilance.
( yet on simple sansa clip or my fone it sounded really good.)
And inspite of the clarity, the bass can come on strong with a good sense of realism.
if u like rock stuff...this can is whew...i dun listen to rockstuff,
but i heard a jpop heavy metal n love the control n sense of being there.

now hit the BUY BUTTON !!

It seems B&H and Musician's Friend has them for the same price. This might be the new pricing or a Holiday sale?

I'd take a look at their recent feedback. And they have another listing for the same price which states it as aftermarket. It's still a pretty good price for a third party but their's a huge difference between authentic and fake. Some don't work with audio and all of them don't work after a couple of months. I finally had to cave in and buy an apple for $30.

You may want to get the Brainwavz HM5 pads to go with these MT220. The stock pads are a little stiff and thin. HM5 pads add comfort and also improve the sound quality. Shure 840 pads would work too.
