No one acknowledged the last post I did when I asked the same question.

Maybe because people are scared of big things? I don't have any first hand experience, but I've heard it can be intimidating.

I think HDtracks sometimes runs promos up to 20% or 25%. So if you're not in a rush, you could wait?

I'm going to resist the temptation this time. They've gone for $999 before on Buysonic so doesn't seem like that big a deal considering the time of year.

Now, if they sell one for $900 I'll buy it. I think I'm just trying to make it impossible so I don't have to

Good deal if you've been looking for one though.

Oh god, I just plugged my HD650 into my new Project Ember.  All of a sudden the decision on whether or not to keep this got a LOT harder.  Man I'm just itching to get my hands on that HD700 now!

Any deals on the shure 535's? Whatever happened to earphone solutions they normally had amazing deals this time of the year on iems. I need a 535 below 300-350 new preferably with tax.

Try these two shops. They're listed at MSRP, but they're willing to accept offers. Just click the "Make Offer" button for the first link and the "Request Deal" button for the second link to make an offer. They're both authorized dealers, and I've made purchases from both of them before.
