It was 10% off the entire holiday season last year at $1350, but briefly amazon was selling them for $889 two weeks before the new year. Speculation is they were trying to get rid of excess inventory since the one I received has a serial number a few thousand lower than the most recent serial numbers at the time. I wouldn't count on it again this year, but who knows.

I suspect that the answer will largely depend upon whether a new model replacing it is in place or in the works.

I tried for Ontario (equi to state in US fyi). And it remains as $1199.
