+1 for B&H as a vendor. They've been around for a LONG TIME with online sales. I think even longer than Amazon and many others. They were known for years as being the best online vendor for purchasing photography equipment (that's how they started). Good company to deal with.

B&H has been around since long before online sales.  I used to get their catalog way back in the day.  They're the biggest brick and mortar photo shop in NYC, IIRC.

I love BH too but I'd still save $74 off of their price to order from Amazon Germany. I got my previous pair of IE80 from them and it worked great!

I would not regard it as a group buy site but rather more of a "buyer's club" in appearance, with the illusion of exclusivity. I got my Focal Spirit Ones from them when they first came out at a good price - the only drawback was the long lead time...

the way I see it, a group buy is when you have to have a certain amount of people to join in order to get the deal. Touch of Modern feels like a higher end Woot! or that newegg flash site where they offer sales for a limited time.
