I have a similar question. W3 for $180 or 3.ai for $209? I have tf10 and xba3 and I lean more towards the sony. Any input? Thanks.

What's the code?  It looks like the other thread has been deleted now, and I can't find it in this one.

IE 80 through NCIX US (I know canada had the same deal not to long ago). $200

Awesome deal on the IE80! Not my favorite sound -too bassy and warm-, but great soundstage! And I love Sennheiser quality. I'm tempted even though I know I wouldn't keep it for long!

For anyone who struggled getting that X3 deal through Adorama, I had to pay with credit card and not paypal before it went through.

TTVJ newsletter subscribers can get a further 2% discount on the already-discounted Black Friday specials.

i.e., anything from http://www.ttvjaudio.com/dealoftheday.asp for the uninitiated

Looks like that gives us the best deal available for the LCD-2s at $780.

For those of us interested in the LCD-2, do you think the price will get much better? I'm not sure if that makes it an okay deal or a great deal at that price.

$200 for new IE80's is great - My journey into high end IEM's started with a pair of TF10's and IE8's - I have spend a bunch since then and the TF10's &IE8's are gone - so it is like coming full circle - Those old ones have always had a warm place in my ears - so to get both UE900's and IE80's for the price of one pair works for me....

Perhaps the failure of the deals thread is that it's human nature to want to discuss things that someone is excited about? And even the slightest comment was marked as a grave offense?

I know this thread was created as outlet for that, but........human nature. Oh those pesky humans....always ruining everything!

More Sennheiser deals at NCIX.  The PX100-ii (a personal favourite of mine for walking) for $40 CAD.  I think FS had the same deal this time last year.

PS. Other forums have successful Deals and separate Discussion threads, but at least you guys gave it a shot here.  There should be a no whining rule though, nobody wants to read your whine. :)
