Blu Studio Energy 2-$130 this motherf got a 5000 MAH battery, you can use this with a USB DAC/AMP and go 2 weeks with out charging it.
 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01686OYKQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?tag=slickdeals&ascsubtag=66f40414a6c211e5b51786cfedc3a23b0INT&_encoding=UTF8&colid=6L2BURI0RY81&coliid=I5B2HHDCGBGDS&psc=1

Essentially you can do this with any random phone that costs like $10-30.  You're paying $100 more for double the battery capacity of most phones which is twice as thick.  You can usually get extended batteries for most phones

You can use your primary phone in the same manner with a DAC/AMP (1 extra device in your pocket and streaming), or buy a DAP (1 extra device no streaming), instead of buying an additional phone which will be attached to a DAC/AMP (2 extra devices with streaming).

Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, just don't see the deal.

Several Amazon Warehouse Deals for the Philips Fidelio X2 for $147.34 and free shipping. Even though they're only rated "Good" I'm still tempted. I imagine they're all returns from the $200 day recently.

Probably all those that a lot of us here have been returning with cosmetic issues.

Ah, I have not been reading about those. One man's cosmetic issues may be another man's drag party? Er, beautiful pair of cans.

Haha, well from what I gathered, they sounded great!  So if your ok with some minor cosmetic issues, they are a steal at $150.  (plus, there is no guarantee that it WILL have cosmetic issues, could look in perfect shape and if it is bothersome, amazon is great with returns)

hmm tempting, very tempting...My pair is still going great and I got it used earlier this year for 200 used like new. But when you see this price for a Good pair of X2, I cant help myself see this price by next year for a brand new pair. Im certain there is still a large stock of them floating around, so running out of stock isnt going to happen anytime soon.

Is there an x3 coming?

Tough to say. They did this last year, too. Black Friday deal --> warehouse deals.

I might pull the trigger on one of the WHD. Even if there is an X3, it won't be $150.

This is true. Man at $150 I want to hear the x2 but I can't with all my current headphones already. Lol

guh... I couldn't resist. Just pulled the trigger on a "very good" WHD for $157.

I recently purchased the HE-400i during THAT Black Friday special, which was awesome. As good as they are, the sound signature isn't my favorite. Might switch to these X2s as my new primary at home.
