I enjoyed the ESP 950's.  Used them for a while w/ the Koss amp and then a 400v KGST made for Stax.  I ended up selling them.  Buyer got a hell of a deal.  Couldn't give them away here...LOL.

If you're going to go down that path, I'd argue just make the leap to Stax.  You can ease in with some nice stuff.  You'll end up there anyhoo...

  BuyDig.com has the BeyerDynamic A 200 P High-End Portable DAC / Amp (716715) for $174 - $5 off with coupon code DIG5 in cart = $169 with free shipping.

This is a great little amp!  Not only does it have the Wolfson DAC that so many folks love, it is small enough to put on your belt buckle and it provides the play/skip/repeat as well as volume functions that the in-line iPhone headphone remotes provide.  It is well suited to 32 ohm headphones like the Grado and Beyerdynamic T 5 p (unlike the high-touted Sony PHA-1, which with its 10 ohm (ya gotta search to find that number) output impedance cries out for headphones of greater than 8 x 10 = 80 ohms input impedance!

Not a deal exactly, though it will be for a few lucky people. SonicElectronix is hosting another give away: http://www.head-fi.org/t/782668/sennheiser-sweepstakes-presented-by-sonic-electronix .

There are only a few more hours to enter the Westone give away, too. (11:59 PST)
