The Deals DISCUSSION Thread (READ THE FIRST POST!!!)

People on the Pulse thread mostly really love the Pulse Xfi...I have a Geek Out Special Edition (has the Femto), think it sounds great (was a limited edition, no longer available-just mention it to say the Femto implementation of LH Labs sounds great). Even the regular Geek Out, small and relatively inexpensive, sounds much better than a phone DAC (or computer DAC), and I haven't heard them, but the Geek Out V2 is supposed to sound better (the GO V2+ has a battery, so you can disconnect from the PC/usb power, my main complaint with the V1 Geek Out).

I'm almost (since I don't actually know what goes on with the site :p ) completely confident they have a variable price algorithm in place, that's the only real reason someone would do the whole 'checkout first and then see the price' thing.

As a certified reseller or retailer they are not allowed to publicly show these kind of discounts, hence they show you "privately"....

....Referral portion of the link has been removed, email price segment is required as it's an email-only deal. Removing everything past the "html" makes the price $528.

Ha...love the disclaimer! Are you sure? I run them by my legal counsel now.

BTW, this Adorama one day flash sale (posted several days ago) is still valid -- HDJ-2000's are still $129.99

Had to hire a freelance programmer to 'surgically remove' the referral source in the middle of the link

Well, the surgery was a success, but the patient died! (link doesn't work...:D )

Western Canadians with access to a London Drugs:
I picked up the JVC ESNSY smaller drivered version today on sale for $19.99 instead of $39.99.
JVC HA-FX45S-B

No regrets here. Classy looking, fit is good, and the soft cable is great no noise transferred. These being the smaller drivers they sure don't sound like it.

No mic on the cables audio only.

Nice, have not heard of this model. JVC's budget stuff tends to be pretty good from what I've read and experienced.
