Probably not, these are the 1st gen T1s that are being liquidated, beyerdynamic has replaced them with the 2nd gen model, which has a higher RRP in Europe, don't know what's the U.S. prices. The new T1 has never been discounted yet

Massdrop's got a new combo deal up with the LCD-X and Gustard H10 for $1699 and free shipping.  Not the best price but not bad either.

Those are good deals... but why would you want to take an LCD portable?  Those would need to be for people who just happen to need a new portable setup for their existing headphones AND a new home headphone.  Can't imagine that's a huge demographic...

A DAP doesn't have to be used in public or away from the house. I use my headphones with my DAP for when I don't want to sit at my headphone setup at home--it's nice to go to listen in other rooms or on the porch :)
