It surely is the best, since it's the most expensive.

It's *not* the most expensive - I think there is someone offering a $1,400 cable.

The stock cable. Why waste money?

Yeah! The HD 650 was good enough, so why spend $1400 at all!

Much disagreement on that; certainly I disagree. Cable differences may not be the most dramatic in the chain of components but to claim they don't exist is plain wrong.

It's not dramatic as the amp, but can help with a better instrument separation and more body to the sound. Overall improvement of 10 to 15%.

Many of us would like to see direct, repeatable and verifiable evidence of the difference.

So far, every unsighted test has failed. So has every test that involves measurements with scientific instruments.

Only people who can see the cable can hear the difference.

Draw your own conclusions.

What clinches it for me are the breathtaking profit margins on cables. Some cost hundreds, if not thousands, for maybe $50 of raw materials.

Again, draw your own conclusions.

Until direct, verifiable and repeatable evidence emerges, I'll stick with the stock cables.
