So what will be the best amp, or a good amp for the W3000ANV?
Must support 24/192 playback and have a 6.3 mm jack.

V200 is very good ss amp with all ath .
I've bought recently a BA and w3000 is sounding a step higher with it.

Yeah, I was considering the Zana Deux amp for the W3000.
Don't have enough $ for a BA.

the w3000anv doesn't need a lush tube amp imo but that's not the eddie current' house sound from what i've seen

W3000 sounds terribly well with the V200. But I would recognize that with the BA and tubes KR PX4, it goes even further. It sounds delicious with a mullard ecc35 preamp tube, wider sondstage ans seductive bass. Great amp and great cans definitely at home

that is a long shot. there was a head-fi'er who bought himself a second pair but can't remember his name. started with an mo I think. didn't you own a pair?

Had a 2 year HF break about 3 years ago.
Sold everything but the D7100 which I got as a trade for one of my three D7000.

Those HF breaks are deceptive. It seems like they should save you money ... but in the long term, it's all tears and empty wallets. :frown:

No, seriously, pretty happy now.
TH-900, LA-900 and HD650. Fabulous Marantz Dac and, GS-X incoming.
Add the D7100 and P7 for other purposes.
All I wish for is a W3000 and a silver cable for my HD650. And find a buyer for my HP-A8C.
And eventually a new top AT Woodie and a new Fostex king, but these haven't been invented yet.

I'm not sure there's much Audio-Technica can do to improve upon it. :/

Add bass and highs? The W3000 is very mid forward, awesome for vocal music.
I love that phone, but foir vocal only.
