I was 99.9% sure those were my next purchase as well but then a good deal on a great looking set of Rosson RAD-0's came up and I couldn't pass them up. They come in tomorrow and I'm pretty hyped.

Man that sucks. It always seems to happen in groups like that. It's almost never just one thing that goes out. Hopefully you can get some/all of them fixed up.

If it was a handful of your IEMs, was it an issue with the same source or just random issues?
Sweet pickup. Hope the RAD-0s work out for you.

Yeah, it really bites. I'm trying to start a business on the side buying and selling audio gear and part of my starting inventory is dead.

It is really odd. I've been buying and selling audio equipment for years and never have had this issue. I need to send them in for repair. Here's my list of items that have died:

1) Emotiva Stealth 8s - These were killed by UPS.
2) Fostex HP-V1 just died one day and won't charge.
3) Chord Mojo died one day when it ran out of battery. Wouldn't charge again.
4) T+A Solitaire P-SEs. Fortunately it's only the gimbal that broke.
5) iBasso P5 Falcon.
Bout the Mojo… would you consider tossing it in the freezer overnight? It'd be better if you could remove the battery first, but I've had the freezer trick recommended to me with devices that won't take a charge anymore.

If it was a handful of your IEMs, was it an issue with the same source or just random issues?
Nah, just random issues. Mostly spontaneous disintegration. Cables falling apart, housings cracking. A driver in my GR07BE literally split in 2 (explains why it had s--tty bass response:laughing:)

My new to me Rosson RAD-0's came in yesterday. I've got a couple of hours of listening time on them so far and I can totally see why some reviewers have called them the best Audeze, lol. Before he started this new company Alex Rosson co-founded Audeze, and he definitely built on Audeze's ideas of how planars should sound. But I think he did it better with the RAD-0. They are warm and detailed, with fantastic mids that do well with both male and female vocals. On top of all that, they are gorgeous headphones.

Random Ramblings -

I've cut & drilled the aluminum plate that will replace the binding post input cup on the JL Audio subwoofer for my car. Just about ready to mount the Neutrik NL4MPR Speakon input jack, solder the internal speaker leads, and screw the plate to the box. Then it'll be ready to install in the car. Before taking it to Car Toys to have the new subwoofer amp installed & integrated with the rest of the speaker system, I need to find the iDatalink Maestro RR2 / HRR-SU3 for them to connect, so the steering wheel controls can operate the radio. I also need to find the DRC-205 Remote Control for the JL Audio amps.

If I can get a large sofa and a couple of chairs moved down from my 2nd floor apartment (so I can donate them), I'm looking forward to unpacking, organizing, and setting up my audio gear.

At my previous job, I was the "old guy" in our group of 8, by more than 10 years. At my current job, I'm probably the "young" one (at 64) in this group of 11, although a couple may be my age, or a bit less.

With Windows 10 support ending this Fall, and the work laptop assigned to me being a 2018 model with i5-7300U, it has to be replaced to install Windows 11. The replacement will be a 2020 model with a 10th Gen i7.

I replaced the battery and still no love. It worked until the battery ran out. The charging circuit is the culprit. I will try the freezer, I've heard that before. Could be a bad trace on the circuit board.

On some older HP printers you had to reflow the solder on the BGA CPU to get them working again. They said to bake them in the oven, but I worked for a electronics manufacturer so I would use a soldering heat gun to do it.

The freezer is specifically for the battery - it was recommended to me to try with my minidisc player that wouldn't take a charge anymore.
If you've already replaced the battery then the freezing probably won't help, unfortunately
