New IEMs from Campfire Audio. These include a USB C Dongle DAC. Behold the Alien Brain..... 🤷‍♂️

I don't know if you've seen the recent Netflix remake of Lost In Space (really good btw) but those IEMs have a real similar look to the robots in that series.

Almost looks like they ripped off the show. Pretty cool looking IEMs. How do they sound though?

According to the FR graph (see below) I'd say bassier than Campfire's usual house sound, i.e. the Andromedas. Are you intending to get a set?

No. I'm done buying until I can get my broken kit fixed. I've had 5 pieces of kit break in the last year and a half. I'm having terrible luck.

But, if I were to buy, I'd get the BGVP Phantom SEs.

Funny how that works. A couple years ago I had a plague go through and wipe out a handful of my IEMs and cripple my A2C. I still haven't gotten round to replacing/fixing em.

It is really odd. I've been buying and selling audio equipment for years and never have had this issue. I need to send them in for repair. Here's my list of items that have died:

1) Emotiva Stealth 8s - These were killed by UPS.
2) Fostex HP-V1 just died one day and won't charge.
3) Chord Mojo died one day when it ran out of battery. Wouldn't charge again.
4) T+A Solitaire P-SEs. Fortunately it's only the gimbal that broke.
5) iBasso P5 Falcon.

I was 99.9% sure those were my next purchase as well but then a good deal on a great looking set of Rosson RAD-0's came up and I couldn't pass them up. They come in tomorrow and I'm pretty hyped.

Man that sucks. It always seems to happen in groups like that. It's almost never just one thing that goes out. Hopefully you can get some/all of them fixed up.

If it was a handful of your IEMs, was it an issue with the same source or just random issues?
