Thanks for remembering. He is always in my heart and in my mind. You have made me want to get out my panda buds. I have a "few"... every time he had an idea he would make it in our kitchen and after he was satisfied with the tuning he would present it to me and then return to the kitchen to make his copy. With most of them there are only two... his and mine. If he had a multipack of drivers that he particularly liked he would make more until the drivers were gone. I think he made 5 Chestnuts. I was often responsible with naming them but I think he named those. The shells are actual chestnut... I think... Wow... this is the part that seems long ago.

Speaking of Wow.... I do want to post a couple of songs while the word is still Slow

First... I think AA Bondy's album When The Devil's Loose from 2009 became my most played album of the past year. I have shared a couple of the other tracks in the past. It was an album that Tom loved too.

Speaking of Leonard.... Tom (HungryPanda) died on April 15th, 2020 from Covid, but because of Covid, the funeral was not until May, 20th. We could only have 10 people so everyone coud have their own row, and we only had half an hour because there were so many funerals to schedule. There were three songs that Tom and I loved that played during that short time.. Eva Cassidy - Over the Rainbow when they were bringing him in. Then in the middle there was a photo slide show while Vienna Teng's Harbor played. That song had special meaning to us when we were separated by an ocean and while we waited to be together. After US immigration denied our petition to have Tom move to be with me, we went through it all again hoping for me to come to him. Luckily the UK accepted me. Finally at the end Leonard Cohen's Dance Me to the End of Love played. Usually at this point people begin leaving but I had requested that they not usher anyone out until the song ended. I needed to sit there and hear the whole thing. I wonder if anyone thought it was weird.

Some of you attended online. Sadly, I was only given the link the evening before so I did not have time to get it to everyone. I was afraid to post it directly in HF ... didn't want to crash any servers. I sent private messages to a few people and it really bothers me still that there were others that never got it.

Normally I would have made a separate post for this part but because we can't make back to back posts I will add these songs.
