Lol, while true, both are not cheap hobbies. I still have a DAP, some IEMs, my modded M1060C's, and a good DAC/Amp combo so I'm not without my music when I need it. But for now I'm just dedicating my fun money to car parts and tires.

@OldDude04
The E30 is a great car. That M50 engine was good but thought it had reliability issues with the cooling. I'm sure you know more about then I do. Keep us updated on your progress. Would love to see how it turns out.
I, too, am selling off some choice pieces and saving up for car stuff (brakes, exhaust and wheel/tires). I guess it's just one expensive hobby for another. I still have a few DAPs and IEMs/headphones to keep me satiated. I try to stay on here and keep up-to-date with the goings-on.
Cheers to you and your build.

Thanks man, hope your build goes well also. What kind of car are you working on?

This thing is crazy!

I'm only adding to a somewhat new (under 1yr old) for some better enhancements. It is a Civic Turbo Hatch, like it has been mentioned here before, nothing outrageous like the CTR, but still fun in its own way. It's my daily driver so can't get too wacky. It's got to be reliable, especially through winter.

You can still 'Drift' in when you get bored of having fun :smile:

The current gen Civic is a damn good handling car. Post up some pics when you get it done.

Hey Loungers! Hope everybody is well and staying safe. Just wanted to pop in and say hi and that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, lol. For those that didn't know, a little while back I had a "leaving the hobby" sale and sold a majority of my audio equipment. (I still have some, I couldn't bring myself to get rid of all of it, lol.) I decided to step away to concentrate on another hobby. Some friends and I have bought/are buying some project cars and we're learning to drift. I bought a BMW E30 with a M50 motor swap which should be a fun car to start off with. Anyway, moving forward I won't be around that much, but I'll definitely check in on occasion to see how y'all are doing. :beerchug:

Lurking is great solution even if you aren't much in the audio game anymore. I get stuff so rarely, pretty much all I do these days is lurk.

I think we all become lurkers at some stage.

Here we are with our old (2 year+) Daps :smile:

Well with my luck (or misfortune) my daps seem to die after two years so I end up upgrading anyways

I’m lurking, haven’t bought anything in years. Well other than music, that I’m still addicted, but trying to be discerning.
