Just came across this one, love this tune, haven't heard it in a dog's age. Great little collaboration.

Wow, I never knew there were good live recordings of him playing the Ann Arbor Ark. So, that was in 2011. The show I went to was in 2004. the one I went to with my daughter and her boyfriend. The boyfriend told me after that it was the best band he had ever seen:) Such great musicians.

Just did a search and found out that the show where I saw him solo at the Ark (with Kelly Joe Phelps opening plus playing with him on some songs) was in 1997!

I wish I had seen The Blasters back in the day...

I hope everyone watches the video all the way through. The musicianship is incredible.

My apologies up front, but I don't know how to embed youtube videos.

I have just been blown away by the International Sweethearts of Rhythm (great band name, maybe the best I've ever come across).

Genre wise they will be a bit of a stretch, but they are fantastic! And such a back story!!

Copy the link. Then in the reply box do you see the icons above? One will say Media when you hover over it. Click on it and you will see where to embed the URL.

You may embed media from the following sites:
Going to YouTube now to look for Sweethearts of Rhythm

Finally got a day off after two weeks and time to relax before it all starts again tomorrow lol
Anyways, my sister suggested I check out Andreya Triana so I went on YouTube and clicked on the wrong one......

Lucky click I’d say :smile_phones:
Then I came across this and drifted back about 35 years to some happy days

Aw you made me real jealous lol
He’s one I missed, so many gigs back then it was hard to keep up as tickets were cheap back then compared to these days.
There’s still time to maybe catch a Framton gig yet, I’ll be keeping an eye out for sure.
Glad you liked it, it put a smile on my face :smile_phones:

Just had a look at possible gigs, if anyone gets a chance to go, then go !!!

I’m absolutely gutted for the guy
