You would be surprised how good earbuds have become and how many different shell types there are. For example, the Monk Lite is a smaller version of the Monk Plus. I have both the 40 ohm and the 120 ohm Monk Lite. Others with a small but different shell type include the Toneking Ting which I also have. My smallest and very comfortable bud is my newly arrived (from Singapore) Blur Black Panther, shown below, currently burning in. Of course I listen to it during the burn-in while at my desk. It sounds amazing.

I can wear the Monk Plus and do love mine (all three of them...different colors) but, as some of you have said, they want to fall out. I don't move around a lot when I wear them.

Black Panther!

Listen to the KZ ZST, not bad out of the box for 20 bucks. Hybrid with one BA and one DD.
V shaped, good amount of bass, recessed mids and good highs, but got some kind of distortion within one song. Maybe the sound will change after some burn in.
The original cable tend to microphonics, they will benefit from a better cable for sure.
They are not so bulky like the ZS10 and the shell looks like a ciem with the carbon style faceplate.

I like music with growls or mixed with clean vocals, depending on my mood.

New music ftw. :D

New Music FTW! !
Right now my favorite heavy band is Clutch.

Have you guys heard Loathe? The lead singer goes from growl to clean and back seamlessly. Some good metal.

I am so proud, among many other things about her, that my 9-year-old daughter is an avid Joy Division fan.

Awesome tune and I like "atmosphere" just as much.

Both of Joy Division albums are outstanding, but the singles and B-sides are at least even as great!

I know Clutch. :)

You will maybe like Orange Goblin, Kadaver, Lonely Kamel, Gentleman Pistols, The New Roses.

She switches between growls and clean. ^^

or only growling like Alissa

For me on those two metal songs:
Guitars. Yes.
Bass. Yes.
Drums. Yes.
Solos Yes.
Vocals. Not so much .
