I find that snake oil keeps my ear wax soft
It can also be used to shine up your ear cups. It's the equivalent to decals on your car. Much like how adding more decals grants your engine more horsepower, shining up your ear cups (and in some cases, ear pads) lowers distortion and increases clarity and resolution. Best of all, doesn't even matter what material your ear cups are made of, just rub some snake oil with go ol' fashioned elbow grease and within a couple of days, you're sure to notice the improvements!Ahhhhh that must be why cables and eartips make my IEMs sound better. Yeah, it is difficult to use iems without a cable and with no eartips... I would find that very uncomfortable.

Are you telling me that some of this is placebo  . So my lucky routine of putting right side in then the left side in before plugging into dap has maybe no effect on audio what so ever!  omg all.this time

You were doing it wrong... left side first...after plugging it into the dap.
Naked buds are the best. It's just not easy to keep them in.Yeah, it is difficult to use iems without a cable and with no eartips... I would find that very uncomfortable.
