I was contemplating a bunch of IEMs, rose mini2, LZ A4, FiiO F9, ety HF5, maybe some others, and waiting for the 11/11 sale.
Then I saw a CA Orion for $130 and just went with it

Should add the MEEAudio Pinnacle P2 to the list. Great IEM, really good bargain for $100.
At least cables are pretty cheap. You can get quite a cable and still come in under $200 total.

Actually I also had the choice of a P1 for $120 too.Should add the MEEAudio Pinnacle P2 to the list. Great IEM, really good bargain for $100.

Other choices are a UM3x for $150 and a UE900s for $170.
Also just ordered the FiiO cable, hope it's actually copper.

That would be a great single BA to collect too!!! Hybrids are all the new stuff on the street.
But it's nice to have a simple BA just see what could be fully squeezed out by a skilled worksman.
Hey guys. Does anyone else get tired of this. I posted this rant on m3s thread where people are bashing other daps.
Everywhere I go on headfi looking at gear. I always see people asking if this is better than this!! Which one has better SQ! This dap sounds lifeless and crap!!!
I guess consumers enjoy watching products beat the crud out of each other like it's a gladiator match. I can't go anywhere but here and SS forum where devices are not being cursed or compared and beaten for sounding how their creators made them sound.
It seems people care way too much about the gear rather than music itself.
I like this place a lot where people also share music where no matter what gear you are using. Anyone anywhere with a pair of headphones/earphones/speakers/ can listen and enjoy.
I guess this is where jude and others might as well take away this person's audiophile card.
