Agreed. R3 Pro is to me the best small stature player around, and the R5 is an oversized R3 Pro that also includes android and more power. I can't recommend Hiby enough. You can also ask @jerick70 about the R6 Pro, he loves his. So what we're asking @Podster (in my best car salesman voice) is what can we do to get you into a brand new 2020 Hiby today? LOL
Heh, I just bought a mint-condish R3 Pro a little while ago from the For Sale threads here.
Haven't listened to it yet, as it's a gift for someone, but it sure looks good :)

Enablement Alert:

If anyone is interested, I've just finished reviewing the Dunu DK-2001 (around $299 new).
Disclaimer: I was given them in exchange for an honest review. Which is what I provided :)
To balance this, I'd add that I'm already looking out for used ones on the threads here, as gifts for family/friends

Now, I'm not deeply au fait with the options at this price point, so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts about that.
But this is, in my humble opinion, a seriously good IEM.
They are remarkably tiny, and the most comfortable for long-term wear I've ever experienced.
They are the first IEM to 100% pass my 'can I wear these whilst lying in bed on my side?' test.
And the sound is really good and addictively musical.
Anyway, I've had these for over a month now, the honeymoon period has long worn off, and they're still awesome
More info in this review, and happy to answer any questions here if you have any!

I would love to step into the R6 or R6P. I don't have the funds at the moment (just bought a new Cannondale) so unless I sell some gear, it'll have to wait. I have been looking at the R6 with some yearning so...I just love the Shanling M5S and the DX160 so not in a real hurry to lose those.

Are you allowed to spend $$$$ on another hobby? Better check the Head-Fi TOS my friend!

DHL Express and there it is

After a short listen I would say the Meze got a bit more space, better layering & staging, still on the dark side, but more adult. :)

I cleared it with the higher ups, it was approved, but only if I ride while I am listening to music.

Loungers, there is a new kind of silicone ear tips for IEMs out called the Azla SednaEarfit Xelastec and they are really damn good. They have the sound that I already liked of the wide bore regular Azla SednaEarfits (I've sang their praises here before), but the seal is like vise grips, lol. They are body heat reactive and form to your ear canal, sort of like a Symbio, but it's the silicone that is reactive not the foam inside. I've not had a silicone tip ever achieve this kind of seal, and to still maintain comfort makes these my new favorite ear tip. I've been using them this morning for about 2 hours doing all kinds of stuff and didn't lose seal no matter how I moved around. Worth $20 for 2 pair imo.

Has anyone else received an idiotic email from AT&T - saying their fairly recent GSM phone has to be replaced, in order to remain compatible with the AT&T network?

Lol, yes. I just got that email today. And I found it funny that the only 2 numbers of my multi-number family plan that they listed in that email were the 2 lines that have phones that weren't bought from AT&T via their payment plans. They were bought outright at much better prices, and one of them is 5G capable and the other is 4GLTE capable. Yet we need to replace them because AT&T is phasing out 3G....

Yep, it appears to be an AT&T Scam / Fright Tactic.
