Just tell her you hate her earrings and then ask her how that makes her feel.  Women - can dish it but can't take it

Glad you're enjoying them.  Any more thoughts on them?  Looking forward to hearing what you think of the sensorcoms when they turn up.

Well I'm the proud owner now of the Easonics SM3 as of early this evening; thank you UPS Man.

I was shocked at how small and light the box was.  I received two pair of Grey Silicone Bi-Flange tips and a Large and Small pair of Comply tips.  Interestingly the silicone tips where installed?  After an initial inspection: the build quality seems fragile, but whatever I will try to be careful with them, also I love the wire...  I got a very nice fit with the installed silicon tips however I am looking forward to the Sensorcom tips Benny is sending me...

Now I'm at a loss for words... these sound amazing.  No lie these really do mold to every song (taken from the High End IEM Chart): from old school Metallica, Guns n' Roses to Chevelle, Nickel Back, Shinedown to Kanye West, T.I., Flo Rida to Rihanna, Jason Derulo etc... they sound amazing.  Perfect...

The one flaw... my Fiancee hates the look of them, lol...

@ benny - I bought her current earrings so I don't think that would fly, LOL.

I let them run for about ~9-10 hours last night after dinner till when I woke up... then gave them a till I got to my office a lil bit ago and have been listening so some more thoughts:  the bass has gotten more controlled... again I love the way the bass, mids, and treble inner-twine...

Concur the bass was sloppy out of the box for sure.  I never got them to hit as low as my MD's though but they are a quicker IEM if you need them to be.

Totally agree, they don't have near the extension or impact that the MD's do (not too shabby for a BA though). Are those still your preferred IEM?

Yup, for overall usability and content.  If I need anymore technical ability I have headphones. The other IEMs in bold serve more specific functions and are part of a specific signature search I'm doing atm.

And now time for a blatantly stupid question.

So, I think I'm going to get a pair of SM3 after cogitating for the longest time. However--can anybody compare to them to the JH16pro? There is a mega price difference, obviously, but I'm still contemplating whether or not I should hold off on an IEM until I have enough for the JH16pro.

As far as I can tell, "koonhua" is the only person that has tried/owned both the SM3 and the JH16. If he doesn't pop up here again (which he probably will) you should pop him a PM.

You should read averagejoe's SM3/EM3Pro comparisons.  Then extrapolate EM3Pro to JH13/16 from GuyDeBoard.

If you go back quite a few pages back on this thread, there should be some comparisons here and there. I will reply the pm if time allows.
