I was able to resample at 176.4kHz, as per your advice. I scanned the device on Fiio Music App, there was a Fiio default song, I played it with both 44.1kHz 16 bit and on DSD mode.

Before closing the FiiO app, I opened youtube music, and it was 176.4kHz!! Thanks.
[EDIT] After listening to 44.1khz to DSD, 176.4kHz to DSD, and the default 192kHz to DSD, by A-B comparison, I still have to say the default 192kHz sounds the best, with the exception of the constant hiss noise.

Hope your team will be able to invent a new algorithm (such as “noise shaping” )to offset or push the noises to higher frequencies in future releases.

I see there is a potential market for people who mainly streams the music and wish to listen to the music/youtube videos & streamings or any media with high fidelity sounds like FiiO is specialized at, so the M11 Pro / M15 was a good starting point. Keep it going:L3000:

@FiiO, any chance you're going to update the m11 to support Apple Music?
At present, the Apple music app can be installed in M11. But you could not sign in your account in Apple music app. This problem is a problem of the 7872 platform itself and sorry we could not solve this issue with that chip. :frowning2:

Best regards

I have a new FiiO M11 Plus LTD and I'm having issues with it, but my emails to support@fiio.com are not being answered. When will a new thread be started for the M11 Plus LTD ?
Dear friend,

We have replied you about that in the M11 Plus LTD's thread. And we failed to find your email. If you are convenient, please try to send the email to support@fiio.com and support@fiio.net again. Thanks in advanced!

Best regards

Fiio, hi!
A big request is to make FiiO Music folder navigation more convenient. Currently, you can navigate through folders to a track only down - Sd card - Music - style - artist - album - track. In order to get into the list of songs on the album, you have to repeat this path again, since the standard swipe on the side works as an "exit". This is very illogical, since in other players, or a regular file explorer, a swipe on the side works as "up" the file tree, while a double swipe on the side works as an "exit". I think this is a serious flaw in the program designer, which makes it very inconvenient to use FiiO Music, and forces you to use more convenient players, for example UAPP

Dear hatbox,

In the file browser page of the FiiO Music app, you could click 'X' in the top right corner of the certain folder page in order to return to the root directory of the folder.
And you could clieck the '<' in the top left corner to return to previous page.

Best regards

Dear FiiO support,

I have FiiO M11 Plus LTD and am happy with most things about it, but I have an issue with album art that apparently is saved as a cache somewhere. The problem is when I exchange the album cover image file (both embedded in FLAC files and as a JPG in the album folder), the FiiO music app will show the old cover even if I do a new, complete database scan.

I have now gone to the extreme and did a factory reset which fixed some of the covers, but others - namely some albums I have played before the factory reset - will still show the old album cover.

At the moment, I have all my music on a microSDXC card in the DAP. I have deleted the Android folder on that card too, in order to force a complete database scan, but as mentioned above, this didn't help with some of the album covers.

Can you help me identifying what I can do the clear the album art cache in the FiiO music app?

Best regards,
LarsHP

Dear friend,
Sorry to hear about that.
Did you try to reset the database in the FiiO Music app, then scan the media library but the issue remains?

Yes. Resetting the database in the FiiO music app obviously doesn't delete it. After resetting, the database is built in extremely short time; within a few seconds. However, when building it from scratch, it takes several minutes. The super short re-scan time is nice if you add or remove tracks or albums, but if (embedded) album art has been changed, this is clearly not re-scanned and rebuilt.

A solution for this issue could be that the app checks the "time stamp" for when each file was saved or changed and if a file is new, both tags and album art is re-scanned. Or simply make sure the app deletes absolutely everything in the database, including album art in chache, when "Reset database" is selected.

I apparently just found out a way to fully clear the cache of the FiiO Music app:

In the Android Settings it found like this:

Apps & notifications -> FiiO Music -> Storage & cache -> Clear cache + Clear storage.

After deleting both "cache" and "storage" (the latter is listed as "User data" under "Space used"), the database is cleared fully and properly.

Initially, I thought "Reset database" in the FiiO Music app actually did clear the database, but it obviously only does it partly with a subsequent fast re-scan as benefit. Now that I have found out how to properly clear the database in Android, my problem is solved. However:

I suggest that a firmware update could include a button in the FiiO Music settings menu that opens directly to the "Storage & cache" page in Android for easy and user friendly access.

Dear friend,

Thanks for the kind feedback. We will report to the engineer for checking about that.
