Hello there!

I'm looking for Subwoofer recommendations to connect to my R7 + SP3 setup! Currently, I'm running the SP3 + an Edifier T5 subwoofer, through RCA, with signal coming from the R7. But I feel like the Edifier T5 that I use isn't a suitable pair for the SP3. Thus, I'm looking for options. Previously I came across a photo of a R7 connectivity diagram (shared by someone from Fiio, on a forum) that is showing Swan's subwoofer. Unfortunately that subwoofer isn't available in the country I currently live in.

But yes, in short, I'm looking for subwoofers that would be a good match for the SP3. Thanks in advance!

Any statement from Fiio on MQA support, now that it is finally removed from Tidal (As of the 24th of July)?
I assume that all future products will not be released with MQA support?
If that is the case, will customers see an overall decrease in price, now that purchasing the MQA license is not part of the overall cost anymore?

Hi. Dunno if there is dedicated thread for fiio music app suggestions so will post it here.
Is there any possibility to turn of slide navigation between song-artist-albom-genre tabs in filo music? I don't know why it is happening but when i scroll up or down it often recognizes my gesture as a horizontal scroll, not vertical one. It is very annoying and im sure it is not my fingers issue. In all another apps they behave well except fiio music. But as for me if it is difficult to adjust gesture as it is done everywhere or if it needs a lot of time - better to have the simple switch to turn horizontal navi between tabs off. I can press them if needed and its OK. I use the last v. of the app on fiio m 11+.

The second annoying thing with the dap itself it that if i mostly use dap in Pure Music mode, I need to do a lot of unnecessary movements if I want to run some steaming app. I need to switch to android mode, press confirm, then run Spotify or Deezer, whatever, and after that when i want to switch back to Pure Music I should do several steps more. So it is obvious that it is simple to add to the fiio music app the ability to launch common streaming apps already installed on the device in a same "monopoly" mode. The idea is to minimize actions and user interaction with the android OS itself.

And the third. I have more than a 1000 albums in my music collection and when i try to scroll through artists or albums list fast i see that annoying placeholders instead of album or artist art. It is wired and seems that there is not optimized enough. Because i have all album art integrated to the flac files, each cover is 100-200kb and option Auto search album art is turned off. So art should be taken from the storage directly and it is cheap and fast operation. So it is obvious that it could preprocess images in a background, adjusting to minimize it size for that lists where small picture is used. So that way it can bufferize more data to make scrolling smooth and show unprocessed hi res picture on the Play Screen only.
Thank you, I have been using fiio daps since 2015, and enjoy them so much that it is my first feedback. Hope that will make them even better.

PS. is there any ETA for TT13 available in Europe?

More high end DAP without android, streaming and other useless gimmick that makes the device run very slowly compare to old X gen models. New portable amp only device, sure the Q series are great but they are not compact to carry at all, i am still using my fiio e12a and e12 DIY since... and more reliable device too, some fails with the m11 and k5/k7 series...

What is the model of your HIFIMAN headphones? Perhaps the FiiO LL-RC can be used with your headphones. Although the LL-RC comes with only a 3.4mm/4.4mm headphone plug, the plug can be replaced, and we have a 2.5mm plug sold separately.

I can choose etiher for the jack connector to the dap: 2.5 or 4.4mm but my hifiman hex v2 required a 2.5mm jack connector on both sides of the shells as well instead of standard 3.5mm

Has anyone found a way to get rid of all the "Jazz, classic, hiphop" etc. EQ's from the Fiio Control app? Its really annoying to have to cycle through them every time to get to my own EQ's, and I'd never dream of using them - I'd rather just have more space for actual useful EQs.

Also, is it just me or has there just been an update that made the app worse? It's much harder to edit and save EQ profiles now. Before you'd just long-press one of your EQ's to save it, similar to the Qudelix. Now you have to go through multiple menus, forcing you to type in a whole new name every time, on top of being unable to actually select which slot you're saving to.
Similar to how the web-app is just broken; you can't see any of your saved EQ's/their names, so you have no way to know if you're overriding them.

Another issue being the EQ being limited to a gain of 12db and minimum Q of 0.25 making it useless with some headphones, compared to my old Qudelix I'd intended it to replace.

And to top it all off, no customer support on the various problems I've had with it.

Really starting to regret getting the BTR17 - thought it'd get better over time, not worse.

Thank you for the response, yes I would like to hide or override them - I am on iOS, in the About section in the app, it says 1.0.0, but the app store says its actually 1.2.19.

It updated a few days ago, which was what made saving EQ's so clunky, seemingly as a side effect of the unwanted sharing function.
