So when will these be available to the US? I want to get a set of the extra bass's, but amazon.co.uk is the only place I have seen them so far. I will pay extra to have them shipped to the US if I have to...

I suggest you go over to the tfta.eu web site and send them an email asking if they will ship you a pair to the US if you order direct from them .

I sent them an email a few hours ago. I'm not expecting much, but I hope they are willing to send me a pair.

Well, I just ordered a pair of the TFTA-2100-3V2B's. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get them shipped to the USA. I sent them an email, and Paul (The guy who was responding to my emails) was able to make it happen, with a quickness I might add. They will be shipped out tomorrow. Excellent customer support. Kudos to any online business who handles customer service inquires on a Sunday!

THANKS Paul! And Totally Dubbed!

I cant wait to compare these with my denon d2000's. Dubstep rules!

Got mine in the mail today! So first impressions: Holy mother of.... Really words cannot explain the amount of bass these have for a pair of earphones. The XB700 are nothing compared to these. The mids are a bit muddy, but the highs are seemingly okay, so it is pretty obvious that TFT have tried to shape these with a u-curvature of an equalizer in mind. Gonna give these a proper burn-in before posting my full review, as the sound has already changed after listening to them for a couple of hours(lost a bit of volume, but they sound much better overall).

Quick comments: Deadmau5 has never sounded better(First time I listened to Sofi Needs a Ladder, I got goosebumps!)! Far East Movement's OMG also sounds incredible.

One weird thing I've noticed is that I'm loosing some sound on one side after listening to them for awhile?

losing sound?
As in fit wise or?
Contact TFTA about that - I never had that problem.

But yes, after burn-in as Luco said, they really do open up ;)

I'm guessing it's because of the earbuds. Going to invest in some better ones as the ones that came with the earphones are constantly getting stuck in my ear canals as I take them out. It's a tight fit alright!

Ok I'm A/Bing right now
The 1V's are much more burned-in than the 1XB's but god, do they sound the same - literally, you would hardly be able to tell the difference!
Bass in the 1XB's is a little more pronounced and the 1V's have got a better range of highs/mids, however can be a little "harsh" on the ears vs the 1XB's
But nothing to be worried about, nothing as sibilant etc as the denon's

So far all I can say about the TFTA's:
(until I test more, and compare) is:

They sound amazing, the best under £300 earphones I've heard, with a good amount of pounding of bass, but yet great SQ and sound stage.
They also don't need to be amped like the MPTG's and thus prove to be easily driven from a Samsung Galaxy S.

Main problems/complaints/improvements so far:
-Hard to tell between L/R (not clear enough for my feeble eyes)
-L shaped 3.5mm jack would be better for long term durability
-Housing is nice, but I can see it "coming off" sooner or later
-Wire is tangle prone
-Wire does give me personally more microphonics than my denon's (without the extension cable on the denon's that is)

Other than that (of course packaging, pouch, more tips, colour differences will be included in the upcoming models) they are fabulous earphones.
I doubt these will disappoint anyone, and if you think your current earphones are bass heavy, think again, seriously, and try the 1XB's - "they blow the bloody doors off - Michael Caine"

EDIT:
Yet again plugged my denon's in (which considering they were for me better priced and sounded like the MTPG's and I preferred them over the se535's, no offence to my lovely earphones, but the denon's don't fit the bill.
Honestly, these TFTA's are WAY TOO CHEAP :D
Hey, I'm not complaining!

Ok so I am a bit of a basshead, I love my SE215, Phiaton MS400, and Eternas...are the 1V going to have enough bass? How do they stack up to something like the SE215 or Eterna bass-quantity-wise? How are the mids/highs for the 1VB overall? Anything you could compare them to?

You should read through my post and see what I've heard. Se535's don't stand a chance in terms of bass vs both versions.
Haven't heard your two sets though.
