Folders in root did not fix the issue for me.Hello everyone, it's my first post! I had all the problems mentioned above, I returned it today. I solved the problem that the songs did not appear by moving all the folders to the root of the SD. It's a shame about Tempotec's QC, it was too good to be true.

V3 with case, pretty good and snug.
So much criticism for a $140 DAPSure. Any activation of the "sound decorations" functions turns off bitperfect. But since I can't turn on bitperfect, I'm going to play with MSEB. Without it, I had a desire to throw away the player.

If anyone knows the proper format for the SD Card could you please post it?
I have only been able to transfer successfully single files using the Wifi Transfer that is built in. This is not a deal breaker for me but it would be nice to have for when wifi is an issue for streaming.
Also if there is a proper folder structure to observe that would be helpful as well.
Cheers!!

I just use a good quality (Samsung Evo/SansDisk...) card in FAT32 (I think exFAT ok too). My folders are listed A-Z by Artist or other (eg 'Classics', 'Favourites' folders). If anyone knows the proper format for the SD Card could you please post it?

All works seamlessly - scans quickly, very good performance and power.

That's what I would have thought, but no luck for me just transferred my normal drive with a folder labeled "Music" and Then Artists and albums nested inside.
Think I will just go get a fresh card today, that has solved these issues so many times for me, lol
Thank You!

Well some folk, like me, are not having problems with folder display or scanning. Can't be just random...Folders in SD card won't be displayed/scanned properly until Tempotec release a new firmware update. And I have a feeling that this won't happen...
Just moved all my folders to the root directory of my card and all files are now displayed so this Hiby OS version shows all tracks via folder browsing on first level only, anything deeper will have to be unlocked fully by FW update which according to Tempotec is "in the pipeline".Folders in SD card won't be displayed/scanned properly until Tempotec release a new firmware update. And I have a feeling that this won't happen...
Apparently someone measured it (see below; from 4PDA thread) and I assume the current and power figures are for a single channel. Not sure if peak or RMS though. If those are peak figures, the 3.5mm output would be around 70mW(RMS), which is quite a bit lower than spec'd. But it does seem more powerful than my Hiby R2 which is spec'd at 70mW/ch, so I don't think that's the case.
YEP, the real power of v3 is a two times lower then shown on their advertise.Apparently someone measured it (see below; from 4PDA thread) and I assume the current and power figures are for a single channel. it's about 300 mW on Balance and about 150 mW on SE outputs. I saw the measurements results.
Also Tempotec official chat confirmed this information
They are sum two channels power for advertise proposes.

I know... (I was the one who shared that chat ) Which measurements did you see though? I could only find this one (that I just shared).
Assuming 100 mW(rms), peak would be 100*sqrt(2) which is ~140mW. Quite close to official spec (per-ch).
Meanwhile, BAL output would have a peak of ~580 mW/ch. Now, that's very close to offical spec (as-is; official 610 mW [combined]).
Edit: Got confirmation in the TG group that the measurement for voltage (and power) are in Vrms at the point of clipping (on an oscilloscope), and it is for one channel, 1 kHz test tone.
