Tansio Mirai Impressions Thread

So few Land owners currently per thread participants. Wondering if balanced power is definitely a better match? I figure with ESTs, conventional wisdom says yes, but maybe they’ve got them implemented more efficiently?

I've had my Land for over a week now and I did let it break-in for a few days but it still seems too bright for me but I'm going to let it play music for another week or so before I listen again. I had similar issue with the Tri Starlight but after a few days of break-in and applying a small decrease in 8K and 16K about 2.5db they sound really nice now. I am amazed at the level of detail. As long as I don't hear harshness in the track I am loving it. It's now got me re-evaluating my Shuoer EJ07 at the moment as they sound a bit dull in comparison. I am waiting for some upgrade cables that I want to try with both the Land and EJ07 before I pass final judgement.

I'm interested in the Land has anyone compared to the clairvoyance?

Currently have the Yin-yoo ST7, it's pretty good. Sub bass focus and amazing detail. Might trade it at some stage and the Land is on my radar.

I also have the TSMR-3 pro and think it's good. Is there any documents for the switch configuration?

TSMR 3-pro and ST7

Tuning mode instruction

0 means push down, 1/2/3 means push up

Mode 1:

100: Bass enhancement mode

120: Mixed tuning

Mode 2:

020:All balanced mode

103: Mixed tuning

Mode 3:

003: high frequency enhancement mode

023: Mixed tuning

123: Mixed tuning (lowest impedance)

SO the switches for all of Tansio models are the same. I think it has to do with their crossover implementation where the switch on is the full monty and switch off dampens the region a touch and it is usually no more than 2-3dbs of emphasis. All switches on and this dampens nothing therefore lowest impedance.

I am surprised the packaging is pretty much the same from TSMR-5 up. It is fairly bare bones as far as accessories goes. More tips but that is about it. Stock cable is ok but I wish they threw on a nicer cable on there instead of the same cable they throw in on all their mid to upper models. Which is fine but that cable clearly does not maximize the sonics on these nicer models. Will be interesting to see how this one turns out. I got word it is their best sounding unit. Word.

I don't know if the sound will be at that level. These are going to be their new Flagship earphones so I bet they poured over this one. It is competing with the MEST and the Solaris and the like. I would assume it will be more on that level but who knows maybe these will be pushing sound to a higher degree. We wont know till folks start throwing their money at these.

Yeah, I was mostly joking, but it has all BA/EST drivers, like the Traillii, so one can hope.
