He doesn't have Pro 82 v2, he is guessing.
As long as MH751 doesn't have the bass port, it can't sound as good as Pro 82/GM200.

Can't see a 42$ listing on Walmart.com, but all the listings I see are around 50$ - which is what typically gets you a v0.9 on Aliexpress...

Important: It's best to use Aliexpress Standard Shipping, because the store have experienced a few situations where Pro 82/GM200 was returned by the customs when using China Post, but never Aliexpress Standard Shipping. Also, it's A LOT faster now during the pandemic, as Aliexpress has direct deals with the local post offices in many countries.

Thanks for responding back to me. I did a little due diligence, after the fact I know and so it seems there are quite a few differences between the two versions, with the revision using a different driver, driver chassis, pad, impedance and cable length.
Well the good news is I can return them to Walmart if needed but I usually luck out in situations like this so I'm just gonna wait and see.
I haven't had a closed back hp as of yet and read some good things about the Takstar so thought I'd give it a try for 42 bucks.
I love a cost effective design and good deal!
I have the Superlux trio and was into KZ a while back.
My biggest decision is what system to run them on...I'm thinking the SS Keces setup.

Unfortunately, there are three versions...
Pro 82 v1 sold out around two years ago.
Pro 82 v2 has been produced since then, and features improved drivers with reduced treble peaks.
Both these versions are excellent, but there is also "v0.9" - featuring Pro 82 v1 drivers, but these are either rejects of Takstar's quality assurance, or a result of a "night shift" production - when a factory makes unauthorized products that Takstar doesn't know about.
They usually come with 2.2m cable (v2 has 1.6m cable), but I see no reason why they can't come with a shorter cable.
The easiest way to identify them - unrealistically low price.
Takstar is very strict with their resellers' pricing - they typically don't allow prices more than a few $ lower than the recommended ones.
You can see the recommended prices in the TakstarOfficial store - currently 65$ for Pro 82.
Some sellers are selling Pro 82 for much lower prices (typically around 50$) - that shows that they are not getting their product officially from Takstar.
These sellers should be avoided, no matter what they tell you.

How does Takstar Pro 82 compare with 120-130 € headphones like AKG K371, Audio Tecnica ATH-M50x or Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro and DT 990 Pro?

I'll inspect the Takstar when they are delivered and determine which version I have. The ad says regular price was $84.99 and they've been reduced so there is hope that they're ligit. I seem to always walk into deals, which works great for me hopefully this is another one!
I'll post some thoughts on them when they arrive.

After all your comments on the chances of getting a good one I cancelled, it sounded like I had more of a chance of getting a pos than the actual hp.
