I got the HD668Bs yesterday.  Love the sound, but not the comfort.  They're in the FS forums.

Terrible isn't it?

Not if you throw on a set of the Creative Soundblaster World of Warcraft Headset pads...it's night and day.

I ended up buying a pair of the 668Bs and also the 660s, I did my research and read a lot of threads, including this thread , and concluded that it would those headphones would be good value for money. The 668Bs are mainly used for gaming (with decreased bass for my "footstep-listening-shooters" ^^) and for that purpose they're great. But when it comes to music, I prefer to use the 660s over the 668Bs due to being... better, not only bass wise but overall better suited for music. I've changed the earpads on both headphones and it really was a necessity due to them being incredible uncomfortable unmodded (I bought them and new earpads at the same time, so only used them with their original earpads for a few minutes). I got glasses and since both pairs, to some extent, were very tight on the sides and pushed on the glasses, it rather quickly became painful. So now I've ended up putting a bit of cloth on the headphones to ensure that they sit a bit higher up and as such, decrease the pressure to some extent, once they've adjusted enough then I might remove it.

The new 668Bs earpads are Akg-240 velourpads and the 660s are dt-770 earpads. Both of them are very comfortable. I've played and burnt in the 660s for 50ish hours and I think that the sound have improved from the beginning, but for all I know that's probably placebo . The soundcard I'm using is an Asus Xonar Essence STX.

Photos, not the best quality, but one can see the headphones.

good going mate, I find the compliment each other brilliantly.

The HD660's for me are a revalation,  I have 200+ hours on mine but to be honest they sounded amazing out of the box.  Especially on rock.  Also using the dt pads and they are so comfy, combine that with how well built these things are and I stand by that Id take these over the m50 and others.

Selling a brand new pair as well in the UK if anyones interested.  See the FS section, cheapest price around, unwanted spare set for a bandmate.

Wow, that's an amazing looking headphone, not sure if one can judge the earpads from a concept photo, but it seems as if those pads could be of higher quality than what's otherwise been the standar from Superlux. But I guess we won't know untill someone have tested them.

More info on them.. http://www.superlux.com.tw/productInfo.do?pdctid=47b91797-c1bc-49cd-b85b-797fdc976792&pdkid=3a182f85-9464-41bf-b4c7-d618102f84ac&level=2&lv0=1 http://www.superlux.com.tw/productInfo.do?pdctid=985f48e4-635f-411a-a9ae-971c8f89b828&pdkid=3a182f85-9464-41bf-b4c7-d618102f84ac&level=2&lv0=1

Wasn't expecting the headphones quality to be as good as they proved to be, sure the original earpads are ****, but the rest feels like a good compromise between the audioquality and a decent buildquality. For what I paid, I'm really happy. I'd actually like to see superlux introduce headphones with better pads, the production price for them with a good pad would be multiple times lower than the cost to buy AKG/Beyerdynamic pads separetely.
