The wa33 does look sexy as hell though ha ha ha

Could someone help and confirm the pin out config for the female 4 pin xlr on a speaker tap adaptor cable? Is it Pin 1 = Right Speaker RED, Pin 2 = Right Speaker BLACK, Pin 3 = Left Speaker RED, Pin 4 = Left Speaker BLACK?

Backwards. Pin 1 is Left (+); Pin 2 is Left (-); Pin 3 is Right (+); Pin 4 is Right (-).

kid vic,
I like the Sophia Baby [used, V1, 10WPC model]/HEDDphone pairing. Sounds pretty good, even with mediocre tubes.
Excellent treble detail and transparent midrange. Soundstage is airy and 3-D with very good imaging. Bass is well defined, but not prominent.
Have a matched pair of JAN GE 5670 and matched quad of Russian military 6P3S-E to swap in later, that should ratchet things up a notch or two.

I like your organization. What are your feet isolators?

thanks a lot! You've been extremely helpful. I did figure it out soon after posting and referencing some pics online. That was the question put forward by the cable maker, so I wasn't sure if he was sure or unsure..

Happy Camper,
Thank you. Will be adding/trying some tube dampers later on.

The isolation platforms beneath the amp are comprised of machined maple discs about 3/4" thick, each with a hole/recess in the middle to fit a glass sphere [marble]. The spheres lodge up into the recesses of the rubber feet of the amp. This mimics a popular isolation device whose name escapes me at the moment.

Under my source [in this case a Ric Schultz/EVS-modded Sony BDP-S780], I use 3x #4 Vibrapods, and nested in each Vibrapod [3x] is a racquetball. This utilizes the Gingko isolation platform principle, but is a lot cheaper. There is a marble slab atop the S780 to further suppress vibration.

No resistors in place. But had thought about putting resistors and maybe some ByBee Slipstreams in between.
Volume was at 30 to 40%: moderately loud, but not ear-splitting.
Would some else care to chime in here [since I cannot answer Rossliew's question]?
What would be the reason(s) for not hooking up without resistors?
[As you can see, I am as dumb as a fencepost here.]

I have that amp too. I've always used resistors. I have two other speaker tube amps to drive my HE-6, I always used resistors. I also use a Linn Klout solid state amp, I never tried resistors on it. I prefer tube amps though.
