Without seeing the size the Slappa hard case should fit these perfectly as they do the Denon's.

  Yes, I can understand that. For me, when the customs are in sometimes its an airtight seal.

Make sure that you take them out of your ears, once in a while, like for a minute or two every half an hour so that fresh air can get into the ear canal and dry it a bit.

How long do IEM last? The humidity and ear wax I believe  will slowly creep in and coat the drivers even when you clean it.  What is the lifespan of a IEM?

Originally I was given a Oct. 2-9th as a deliver date. They have now changed it to Oct 8 - 20th. I can tell you not shipped today. I think the official release date id Oct. 20, and I'm thinking they will ship on the 19th or 20th.

I have the SLAPPA Hardbody Pro, which holds my TH600s and HD650s (cable detached) quite well.  I will try it when my Z7s arrive.
 
I'm surprised Sony is offering a matching headphone stand, but not a case.

Whichever closed HP I get, the first mod will be the hirose connector.  Luckily the z7 is 4-conductor so it`s simple.
