^ That's why I said it is all subjective as to which you prefer, looking at the graphs you would not be able to tell which you would prefer until you heard both, the graphs are just for evening the playing field, and are obviously useful for some things, for example no one can claim an iem has great bass extension if the graph clearly shows roll off. Our ears are not the best judge of metrics, that's what graphs are for.

Hi Trance, just f.y.i., these sorts of graphs are not accurate above 10khz. That's an important thing to remember and certainly should be part of a discussion of roll-off for any earphone.

It's true that the accuracy tolerances increase in the 10khz-20khz range, but they universally increase upwards for over sensitivity, meaning the graphs can still be used for comparing high frequency performance among headphones and iems.

are those hybrid foam filled sony tips on ebay original or fake ones

They're legit but they're not the same ones that come with the Z5. If you look back a few pages, I posted up a picture with the difference. The hybrids that come with the H3, A3 or Z5 have a much denser foam and those ones on the link are not as much. I also bought them to try while I was in japan .. they feel sort of similar but still not the same .. I don't think they sounds as good as the dense foam ones either. I've been told Sony shop in hong kong sells the originals.

He wants the ones with the less dense foam.

They look like the ones that came with the XBA-1 i once owned (black/gray foam), they were my favorite tips i used them until the foam fell out :D

The H3 still came with the old softer foam. The A3 and Z5 (not sure about the others) come with the new updated stiffer foam. The new ones are red.
