Looking for some suggestions for XL tips for WF-1000XM4. Large Sony OEM tips are too small. I am currently using large Comply TruGrip Pro memory foam tips.. They barely seal and leak when laying down/reclining. Hoping to find a slightly larger foam tip to get the best out of the XM4. There seems to be a bit of wiggle-room in the Sony charging case so slightly larger tips than the Comply should work.

I would appreciate any suggestions from experience Head-Fiers.

Ive been looking at the "Sony LinkBuds S" and review say they are pretty much identical to the xm4s accept there slightly smaller, dont have wireless charging and slightly less bassy but hardly noticeable.. So do anyone own both these buds and if so can you tell any difference in sound quality,, as Im thinking of getting these and selling my xm4s just because the LinikBuds S are smaller and might fit better in my ears?

I have both and there is a difference in sound quality. I'm not at all good at describing them - however, I did find a video that does a good job at describing what I cannot at 11:45.



Fit and comfort, LBS for the win. SQ wise, LBS sounds a little brighter and less dark than the M4 stock sound.

One of the guys on the tws thread went from the linkbud S to the xm4 and found the xm4 a bit darker (fixable with eq) but better detailed (and way better ANC) iirc.

I’ve got both. I do find the XM4 to be the better but I could easily live with just the S.

I use the XM4 for music on the go while I use the S as sleeping buds with audio books as the smaller size means I can lay on my side on the pillow with no discomfort, something I cant with the XM4.

You might want to wait for the upcoming XM5 which is rumored to be more like the S in size
