The play time counter is maintained when you install WalkmanOne. I no longer have the A55 but I’m pretty sure it had the counter as well
It does. I for some reason also thought it was present on stock but I guess not? Time has alluded my memory I guess, shows how little ive been on stock based fw.
It will definitely start from 0:00 though. As it will reset between each full uninstall/reinstall of the firmware, same applied on the older firmwares that were not native to the A55.

I vividly know my playtime is not accurate for that reason as I have logged probably about 4-6000k hours on it but itll only read like 1200 right now after testing other FWs

NW-A55 did not have the play time counter on the SONY stock FW.
If it does have it on Mr.Walkman's CFW, it will be great.

As far as NW-WM1A/Z and NW-ZX300 are concerned, is the end value of the play time counter on the SONY stock FW taken over to Mr. Walkman FW or not?

Yes the counter is maintained when WalkmanOne is installed

The only time you lose the play time counter is if you do a factory reset.

yeah I use cfw to change it already but now I just want to change the color of typeface
you can go to "www.npaudio.uk"and see the "NPAudio Modifications"about sony then you can see the gold typeface
it's really cool!:sunglasses:
The golden gui is exclusively available when you get a dap modded by NPAudio

I need some help. Somehow, the DAP never recognises the settings file and always generates a new one...
Do I need to keep the settings file to the root?

=> Settings file (settings.txt) was not found, generating a new one.
- Settings file (settings.txt) generated!

The settings file should be inside the cfw folder that was created during installation of WalkmanOne

tried to change the Dawn setting on my wm1z. I restarted while the device was rebuilding the database and i am stuck in constant bootloop. If anyone is left on this forum and could help, i would appreciate it. i already emailed Mr Walkman, just trying to reach out everywhere, as I don't know how active this is anymore

Been reading. Been here for months. There has been no specific posted answer. On one or two occasions, Mr Walkman sent info to specific individuals and asked the info not be directly shared. From what I've seen there has been no SPECIFIC fix posted for all to see

To be clear, I'm familiar with dfu mode and the combination, but with my device being in a constant bootloop, it never makes it to the full startup screen, and it doesn't show up on my PC even after the notification sound with the button combination 🤷

As I understand there is no simple step by step soloution, it is a case by case help that has been given to some people

You need a specific program that reflashes the OS and works even if the computer is not recognizing the player.
I can upload it once I get home.
I'll send you a link.
