though j3 is superior in every aspect, i find the mx3 more enjoyable to listen for a long time or it is just me

I find the MX3 + every profile from Walkman One a but too intense in upper mids and low treble.
My preferred profile from Walkman One is the neutral one, but even with the differences between them, all have too much upper mids / low treble for me, more than other DAPs I have or have had.
I have to install the Project Z and try it when I had the time.

I don't know if just changing the region it is possible to change that...

If you were using Plus V2, try disabling it.

I do. See PM
Can’t thank you enough for providing them! I feel like the a55 is the best device I own for music playback thanks to all these firmware options. And all the setting features and just overall sound quality is great! And of course the tiny form factor is probably my favorite thing.

I applied the CN region (based on chart for max resolution) and warm/neutral to balance it out.

Tonight I go back to wm1z to compare.

But I suppose maybe I don't need max resolution for a portable dap, but I need best warmth tonality possible.

Which region/setting will provide a warm tonality, to reduce fatigue?

Thank you.

I just can’t get past E. Ticks all the right boxes, when it comes to portable use! :)

Hello, I am on page 328 currently. So there are some 250 more pages to go.
In these 328 pages I have not come across the information regarding play time counter with Mr. Walkman CFW yet.
Nor could I find anything using the search function here.

1) So far I have been on SONY FW only with all my DAPs.
If I replace it with the Mr. Walkman's CFW, will the end value of the play time counter from SONY OS be taken over as the starting value in the Mr. Walkman's CFW on NW-WM1Z/A and NW-ZX300?
Or will the end value be not taken over and the play time counter starts at 0:00 again?

2) Are there any Mr.Walkman's CFWs that introduced the play time counter for NW-A55? If so, which ones please?

FLAC needs much more CPU power to compress, and a lot less to decompress, as it's optimized for decoding speed at the expense of encoding speed.

A FLAC with maximum compression will decode as fast as one with the minimum compression.
hello Mrwalkman I have a question that can I change the color of the typeface on WM1A In the case of I use the mod Walkman One?

You can change the colour of the gui icons but it is a subtle pastel colour change

The play time counter is maintained when you install WalkmanOne. I no longer have the A55 but I’m pretty sure it had the counter as well
