WM1Z (U) sounds soooo sweet. Like honey
It's my end game as well.

No doubt after using the Bright tuning for the longest time and then growing a liking for neutral after a while, I have also eventually settled on the WM1Z tuning. Its just so well balanced and Ive been stuck on it for about a year now in combination with J3 & PMV 2. Does great for home use as well as auto, at least with my current hardware.

I tried Bright again yesterday, to confirm what I was hearing..... and I found it to be very hard to leave the WM1Z tuning.
I don't like the WM1Z tuning with "ANY" of the other settings turned on though (Alternate DAC and PlusVer1/2). It sounds wrong with my gear and mods.

been months since i last played with the regions/tunings , i should maybe try some new combos ?

still not sure how the sound changes with the dac/plus tunings etc

I played with Bright Sinatra and dragons and then WN1C and also a little bit of the AC initialization and the plus B one and plus be two most and it was fun to see change. Go to hear change not to see. I finally settled with the That our great Danish friend Joseph.
