Nice, thank you!!I ended up to buy the DAs R10 and TA ER1 😂
It's been years after all :)
These settings are still solid.
I've been playing around with Bright, plus V1., alternate DAC. U region is a great match here. CEW is also very good.
Too many options, but I wish I could tune it myself, take a few things here and there, then start cooking. 😀

Another really good combo I found.
Bright, Plus V1, CEV, Normal DAC. Sounds full, textured bass, nice wide stage, great resolution. No peaks.
Great for Jazz. It sounds romantic. Region U works very well here also.

Hi guys, I wanted to ask you is the settings file on the W one on the phone or it is busy under a folder? And another question about the settings file are the numeral options for each setting on a comment block so you know what are the different settings for example, the region setting if you have in a common block somebody MX3, J3, U etc., or in there loose mode option if you had a comment for B one B2 or B3 etc.

@MrWalkman which region and sound profile for WM1Z is the closest mimic of DMP-1Z?
For my WM1A test the closest to the DMV the settings were as follow.
Jay 3/Pluf v2/alt dac/wm1z

I don't think any of them do.
DMP-Z1 Is more than just a tuning, the hardware is on a whole different level.
If you have really transparent headphones, that scale with source... nothing matches it.

But if you had to pick, Bright tuning is the closest. Which I happen to think is also the best tuning.

The profile/signature should be the Bright one
I am about to install wall one the question again about the settings file do you get each setting individually list it for to see what you come answer and easy settings file hidden, or is visible on on which folder is located?

CFW, then settings, change them to whatever you want, save, then restart player.
If you're changing tuning, you have to to into "External Tunings" folder and install the selected tuning.

Try this combo
Bright, Plus V1, (U or CEV or J), Normal DAC.
Let me know what you think,

Bright, PlusV1 and Normal DAC are a great combo.

Thanks, yes I know, I own the DMP. I just wanted to see if other ears with more experience have already figured out a shortcut so I don't have to sit through hours of trial and error

Region j3 does not exist. It is not available on it defaults to MX three I don't know why. @nz8000
has it listed in his signature how he got into it? I don't know.

J1-J3 and a few others are only available in a special relese (the one I sent you) and only for the 1A and 1Z players but is not mentioned in the explanations in the settings file.

I try changing it to J3 and then I look at the boot lock file and it says J3 is not available late default into MX three where I should do? Or should I use the WM1 seat external toning?

gerelmx1986: You have to install the latest, unofficial release of WalkmanOne CFW that @nc8000 has sent you. Otherwise there is no way how you could get those new regions working. Period.
