I think you have to use this StockRevert package:

Regarding bootlooping devices - I have another computer, and the required files are on a separate SSD. I have to buy some adapter to connect this SSD to my-now-laptop in order to access those files. Also, my grandma died recently - she was very dear to me, and even though at first it didn't seem to affect me too much, I've been dealing with some panic attacks, which I've never experienced before. Luckily I realized what actually happens, as I thought I suddenly developed some heart issues, and now I'm better and I usually manage to get out of these situations quickly. All this being said, working on this stuff is the last thing on my mind now.

I know that a lot of time passed since I said I will help you guys, but I will try to do it soon. Sorry.
Take care of yourself.

How do you do that given that these players aren’t Android ?
Through a BT connection ?

i forgot to mention that i use a usb-c adapter for the walkman cable. plug in your walkman first then connect the walkman to your android and it should appear. im using an s22 ultra and it works fine. certain apps dont allow for editing the txt file but X-plore does it for some reason.

Ah so you essentially connect the Walkman as a usb drive to the Android phone

Yes, I used to transfer downloaded music from my phone using this method. Quite handy when you wanna update your library on the go or want to quickly charge your walkman directly from the phone.

Genius! I had wondered myself at one point if it might work but as my Walkman doesn't leave the house I never tried.

When I was in Japan with no PC access, and peachy keen to try a new pre-SD card Walkman I'd purchased I used this method to get me up and running.

Hi there
I have a WM1A at home as a test before buying
This SONY has been upgraded with NPAUDIO and is on firmware Mr WALKMAN
It's an old mod named DMP WM1 FE (Classics)
Considering the new Wkamn ONe version, I was hoping to STOCK REVERT before re-installing but here is the bug

Anytime I try to launch the Stock Revert exe, I got a message : connect the player to the computer with a USB cable
Which is already done as I clearly see my WALKMAN connected and I can move Music to the player

I also add to you that I don't have any CFW file on my walkman while it has been modded.

Any help would be very kind.

Cheers

Phil

You need to use the correct revert package for the fw that is installed. MrWalkman has a zip that contains all the older reverters on his web site

And you’ve followed the exact sequence as per the instructions. This error normally comes because the player is in a different state to what the reverter expects to find. As I understand it, it has to do with what internal model the player tells the reverter it is vs what model the reverter expects. These custom fw amongst other things switches around with the internal model designation

After playing around with it a little I really do enjoy the tweaks to the sound. I preferred the "playing now" screen from the stock firmware though. I know I probably sound neurotic but it seems like all the text is squished close together and it bugs me a little. I don't suppose there is a way to modify that?

On the A45/A55/ZX300 the text is squeezed together
