Yeah. Yours should be manufactured in early 2020 or late 2019. Mine is a very early unit.

My WM1A is dated August 19 2018 with a serial of 5052XXX, @aceedburn is dated October 2016 with a serial of 5011XXX so yours will be in the region of late 2019 or early 2020

That's interesting US market players don't have production dates. Wish Sony was more consistent with their labeling.

FWIIW my Asian-market (bought in Malaysia - straight from the source ) A30 has the production date stamped on the backplate, my EU-market A50 has no production date.

Of course there is. The choice is quite large - J, U, U2, U3, CA, CEV, CE7, CEW, CEW2, CN, KR, E, MX, E2, MX3, TW.
