Is anyone else having issues with wifi being unavailable after leaving the zx707 on standby overnight? I bought a japanese version and not sure if it is specific to this model. I basically have to turn wifi off and back on again everyday after the unit has been in standby for awhile.

Otherwise really enjoying the sony dap but wish there was a fix or update for the wifi problem. No other device I have has this issue with the same wifi connection.

Have not seen this problem on any Walkman. Have you tried rebooting your Router, or testing with another Router? I have seen Routers do strange things, like a single device not connecting, while other devices are fine. I find that setting the Router to do a scheduled reboot every day, in the early morning, prevents a lot of problems.

Do you have other Android devices? This could be do to sleep settings. Android will put to sleep damn near everything after a few hours of non use if you allow it. So essentially leaving you to "wake up" wifi by turning it off and back on.

Someone at this forum has mentioned, that the case is designed to stay on forever Well I agree with this.
As I like to take the players out of their original cases to hold then in my hand from time to time, this is what resulted with ckl-nwzx700.
At the top edge, it tear apart slighty. So watch out when taking out. Even with extreme caution when taking out, there is pressure put on the side of the cover which may result in this.

Slice it off! I ordered the same case. I also dabble in leathercraft, so may make my own case down the road.

Normally I also dont like cases. But imho the original Zx700 case is tailor made for the DAP and I love it !

Looks a bit loose like a used condom + the dots on the buttons are missing. This is a very useful feature on the original case.

Yes, it's an Stock Android 12 and so has all options an Android 12 should have including this

As someone that is interested in purchasing this DAP it's frustrating that there is very little in the way of reviews. Seems to be a trend with a lot of Sony stuff. Makes it hard to invest that kind of money.
