I would say it is quite significantly bigger than a ZX-507. It is only slightly smaller than a WM1AM2.

The WM1AM2 is 80.5mm x 142.5mm x 20.8mm while the 707 is 72.5 mm x 132.3 mm x 16.9 mm. Comparatively, the 507 was 57.9mm x 122.6mm x 14.8mm.

Not only taller but also much wider. The key justification on their end was that this was to encompass a larger screen which would in turn allow people to better type to search songs on streaming services.

ZX707 uses the same kind of capacitor as WM1xM2 but it has less amount than the M series, and it does not use mechanical relays. Besides that, it seems that other parts like inductor, resistor, solder, ... are the same too.

I bet battery life will be poor again for streaming media apps, really should have gone larger battery. My WM1AM2 is a bit sluggish for OS but will likely stick with it, ZX707 is this not much lighter/smaller unlike ZX507 and WM1AM2 battery life is so much better than the ZX507 I had.

Like the design.

One short hands on says it’s 70-80% there, but no detail. I honestly struggle to hear the difference between 1ZM2 and 1AM2 and I’ve listened over 200 times to some YouTubes - I even recorded the output and did a visual comparison. But it’s got background noice so hard to compare 100%. I can hear some difference, but I don’t know if just my eyes making me think yellow is brighter than black or something else.
