I'm trying to copy files to PC before I format,(connected it through the walkman) and every time after a while it crashes and stops recognizing the card. I tried another microsd I have but walkman doesn't recognize it at all.. I think I'm in trouble :frowning2:

Does cue sheet support imply that it can read ISO files?

Wooh! Finally solved the CUE sheets mystery! So I took the pain to browse through all the CUE sheets list which all of them shows "0" songs, until only 2 CUE files showed the number of files. So I tapped and it played all the tracks. So now on PC I checked the file information and I see the codecs are APE. but all other CUE palylists are actually made from Flac files. So it can only play .APE cue files.

Don't know about ISOs. Need to check...

Could anyone offer comparisons of the zx300 se vs balanced outputs? How much of a difference is there between them on a scale or percentage-wise?

My cables are all se and i'm a bit discouraged towards the zx300 by the reviews on this thread but haven't actually seen a direct comparison between its se and balanced output.

Thanks.

Just get a balanced connection and be happy. Your ears will thanks you for it. The balanced jack is more dynamic sounding in all ranges. Soundstage is better including depth and width. More power translates to more punch at at the same volume level. If you going to pay for the ZX300, then a balanced out is madatory. Otherwise, I would just get the ZX100.

Purk summed it up nicely.

Thanks to @matique 's post I ordered one of these last Wednesday and it arrived today. Fantastic colour imo, blue but more of a sea blue, and smells like leather too! Really good quality overall.

Thanks for the response @purk

Could anyone offer any comparisons between the zx300 vs either or all of qp1r, ak70 mk2, cayin n5ii, bit opus #1 and hiby r6. Those six are currently my options of daps to pair with oriolus mk2.

Also, if anyone has listened to more than two of them, then include a ranking based on your preference, thanks.

hi, I'm new to this forum :)
I'm thinking buy a zx300, I have some questions:

the first:
I like rips my CDs on a big large .wav file + .cue file (the .cue split the wav in tracks)

the zx300 can READ .cue files? and show the album in tracks?

yes yes I can rip on flac or aiff on tracks, but I like a big .wav + .cue, I feel like a I make a 1:1 copy of the CD.
